The incumbent will primarily work directly with operations and maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable unit performance and make decisions and suggestions to address problem areas and improve overall plant performance. The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving and organizational skills. What You'll Do Provide process and personnel safety support Monitor unit key performance indicators to identify problems and opportunities in the unit with the goal of continuously improving production, efficiency, cost and environmental performance. Provide support for long range business needs, capital investment plans and projects including identifying short- and long-term equipment improvement and replacement needs Ensure engineering standards are maintained in own work area as well as in areas of responsibility. Work in an operational team environment with limited supervision. Utilize programs such as MS Office and SAP What You'll Bring Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Process Engineering Degree. Registered, or immediately eligible to be, with APEGA as a Member in Training. 2+ years' working in an industrial engineering role. Knowledge in pressure vessel, piping codes, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and safety valves. Ready to make an impact with us? Apply today! Exigences
