Experienced Finish Grader Operator

We are looking for experienced Finish Grader Operators to work seasonally in a full-time capacity with the potential of becoming a year- round full-time position. The Finish Grader Operator will work on projects in various locations throughout Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the following: * Safe operation of equipment such as finish graders and other base equipment; * Working with minimal supervision; * Performing daily safety and maintenance checks; * Other duties as required. Qualifications: * You are required to possess a minimum 2 years of experience in operation of finish graders and related equipment, for example, the ability to finish grade within a 2 cm tolerance; * You are required to have extensive road building related heavy equipment operator experience; * You must possess knowledge of the safe operation of equipment and municipal road building industry; * You must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with air or above with a clean drivers abstract; * High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions are required; * The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is highly desirable; * You are required to demonstrate a willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends; * Valid safety certifications are required. The Finish Grader Operator is responsible for the safe operation of finish graders and other base equipment on road construction projects. They must perform daily safety and maintenance checks while working with minimal supervision.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in finish grading and heavy equipment operation within the road building industry. A valid Class 5 driver's license with air endorsement and valid safety certifications are required.
