Wire Rope Fabricator

Job Purpose: The Wire Rope Fabricator will fabricate and refurbish wire rope slings and other lifting assemblies. Key Duties and Responsibilities: * Fabricating/Splicing various slings (Synthetic Rope, Wire Rope, Chain, hardware) * Operating Machinery; Swaging Machine, Test-bench Machine, Reel Coiler Machine, Annealing Machine, * Familiar with rigging equipment terminology & procedures * Testing strength and flexibility of Wire Ropes / Chain / Synthetic Rope, Wire Rope Terminations, Rope Removal Criteria, Wire Rope Examination Procedures Job Requirements: * Must have experience in manufacturing role working with various tools. * Forklift experience highly preferred, willing to certify. * Lifting Gear Inspection, Wire Rope Examiner and ASME rigging fundamentals and requirements. * Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. * Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time. * Must be authorized to work in the Canada without sponsorship. * Must be at least 18 years of age. The Wire Rope Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and refurbishment of wire rope slings and various lifting assemblies. This includes operating specialized machinery such as swaging, test-bench, and annealing machines to ensure equipment meets safety and strength standards.

Candidates must have experience in a manufacturing role and be capable of lifting up to 70 pounds while standing for extended periods. Familiarity with rigging equipment, lifting gear inspection, and the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship are required.
