About the role: Are you passionate about cybersecurity, the inner workings of embedded systems, and wireless protocol analysis? Do you enjoy solving complex problems, pushing the limits of your technical understanding, and finding innovative solutions to challenging technical issues? We would like to meet you. As part of the growth of our R&D team, we are looking for an Embedded Security Researcher to contribute to advanced technology projects involving embedded systems, wireless communications, and the analysis of hardware and software components. What you'll do: Conduct vulnerability research and analysis on embedded systems and connected platforms; Perform reverse engineering activities on software, firmware, and communication protocols; Analyze, decode, and test wireless protocols, including Wi-Fi and BLE; Participate in the identification, reproduction, and validation of security flaws; Design and develop tools, scripts, or analysis methods to accelerate research activities; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to understand technical challenges and propose robust solutions; Document research findings, methods used, and technical recommendations. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for candidates with 5 to 7 years of experience; Experience in a role such as: Vulnerability Researcher Reverse Engineer Security-oriented Embedded Software Developer Strong understanding of embedded systems and their hardware and software architecture (ARM64, MIPS); Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication protocols; Experience with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android); Knowledge of embedded Linux environments, firmware, and debugging tools; Programming experience (C/C++, Python, etc.); Experience with reverse engineering tools (Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Frida, etc.); Knowledge of computer security applied to embedded systems is a strong asset; Knowledge of cellular protocols (LTE, 5G) or software-defined radio systems (SDR) is an asset. Assets: Intellectual curiosity and passion for technical investigation; Strong versatility and ability to quickly learn new technologies; Perseverance when facing complex or ambiguous problems; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Solution- and results-oriented mindset; Autonomy while also enjoying teamwork.
