What you'll get to do The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees in a manufacturing environment. They will plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. The Supervisor must ensure the manufacturing process remains safe, smooth, and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring employees in collaboration with the Plant Manager. Supervisors are responsible for leading, directing, training, and assisting their teams. Supervisors are expected to embody OBE’s Mission, Vision, and Virtues with the highest regard. Responsibilities: Balances and maintains safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve all areas. Provides leadership, management, direct supervision, motivation, positive and professional approach to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention. Confirms compliance with Safety and Quality professional standards. Leads a safe, well-organized workplace with active WPO in a TPS Environment. Records daily KPIs and maintains updated reports throughout the day and summarizes at the end of the shift. Ensures a healthy employee experience by providing employee coaching and development and resolving employee issues through problem solving. Performs employee performance appraisals and provides feedback in real-time. Engages in regular communication and collaboration with upstream departments to ensure timely shipments that align with customer needs. Manages production support systems by maintaining accurate scrap and inventory data, ensuring proper material flow and cross‑training, and submitting detailed maintenance requests as needed. What were looking for: Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Production Leader/Shop Leader. Experience in a Manufacturing environment. Good computer skills and familiarity with ERP software, Assembly management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic. Ability to create and adhere to production processes and deliverables. Must be able to interpret and relay production data and all KPIs.
