There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment All weather conditions Work setting Commercial building Manufacturing or processing industry Responsibilities Tasks Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment Perform safety and security checks Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair Work with minimal supervision Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas Maintain accurate records Ensure compliance with government regulations Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions Assemble stationary industrial machinery Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts Experience and specialization Equipment and machinery experience Tool grinders Drill presses Area of specialization Mechanical system Equipment Power tools Power lawn mowers Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments) Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Work under pressure Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Personal suitability Dependability Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative Organized Reliability Benefits Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Paramedical services coverage Vision care benefits Long term benefits Long-term care insurance Other Benefits Wellness program
