Résumé du poste

Olive is a remote-first Canadian based company looking for a Full-Time Senior Merchant Data Analyst. Compensation starting at $90,000.00 CAD + benefits. MUST be located in Canada. Olive is not in the position currently to be sponsoring work permits for people outside of Canada. Olive builds the card-linked loyalty infrastructure that powers rewards, rounding, and loyalty programs for some of North America's most recognizable brands. Operating on established Visa and Mastercard network partnerships, we give our customers the payment-linked loyalty capabilities they need without having to build them from scratch. We're a flat, fast-moving team where everyone's work has a visible impact. If you like owning outcomes rather than tickets, you'll fit right in. The Role Merchant data is at the backbone of everything Olive does, it's what makes a card-linked offer actually work at the register in real-time. We're looking for a Senior Merchant Data Analyst to own the quality, accuracy, and integrity of our merchant database, and to be the connective tissue between our offer partners, our clients, and our product team. This is a role for someone who's genuinely energized by clean data, sharp metrics, and solving the puzzle of matching real-world merchant records with precision. You'll work cross-functionally across Product, Client Success, and our merchant/offer partners — reporting on performance, closing data gaps, and pushing our platform to get better. What You'll Do Own merchant database quality. Maintain and continuously improve the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of Olive's merchant database, including merchant identifiers used across offer matching and reconciliation. Own offer supplier/partner relationships. Serve as Olive's primary point of contact for offer and merchant supplier partners, managing the day-to-day relationship, aligning on data standards, and resolving issues as they come up. Drive offer onboarding. Partner with offer and merchant partners to onboard new offers accurately and efficiently, ensuring merchant data is structured correctly from day one. Report on performance — both directions. Deliver clear, metrics-driven performance reporting to clients on how offers and rewards are performing within their programs, and to merchant partners on how their offers are performing across the broader Olive client base. Safeguard merchant identifier integrity. Monitor and resolve merchant identifier issues (duplicates, mismatches, mapping errors) that affect match rates and downstream reporting accuracy. Improve our tools. Provide structured feedback to the Product team on how to evolve Offer Manager and related tooling to make merchant data management more efficient and scalable. Be a metrics owner. Track and report on database accuracy, merchant match rates, and other data quality KPIs, flagging issues before they become client-facing problems. Contribute beyond your lane. As part of a flat, lean team, pitch in wherever you can add value to Olive's success — this isn't a role where "not my job" exists. What You Bring 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, or a related analytical role — ideally with exposure to merchant data, payments, loyalty, or fintech. A genuinely metrics-driven mindset — you default to data to make decisions and to prove impact. Exceptional attention to detail; you catch the inconsistency others miss. Strong proficiency with data tools (Excel/Google Sheets required; SQL or similar query experience a strong plus). Comfort working directly with external partners and clients — you can translate data into a clear story for a non-technical audience. Experience with merchant/business data matching, entity resolution, or identifier management is a strong asset. Ability to work independently and take ownership in a flat, resource-conscious organization — you won't have a big team behind you, and that's part of the appeal. AI-capable, not AI-dependent — you use modern tools to work faster and smarter, but your judgment, not the tool, is what we're hiring for. You can explain your reasoning and defend your numbers without pointing to a black box. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Why Olive Real ownership over a function that directly impacts client and partner satisfaction. A flat structure where your work — and your voice — is visible at the executive level. The chance to shape how Offer management in the Olive Platform evolves, not just use it. Remote-first, North America-based team. Olive Group is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates. Compensation Starts at $90,000 CAD / year + benefits. MUST be located in Canada. Olive is not in the position currently to be sponsoring work permits for people outside of Canada.
