Job Description The Mechanical Designer supports industrial mechanical engineering projects by producing high‑quality design models and construction documents for process, piping, and mechanical systems. This role works closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to develop coordinated designs that meet project requirements, applicable codes, and client standards Key Responsibilities: Develop mechanical design and layout drawings using Revit, Plant 3D, AutoCAD, or similar tools Prepare plans, sections, details, isometrics, and schedules for industrial mechanical systems including piping, equipment layouts, and supports Coordinate design models with mechanical engineers and other disciplines Incorporate redlines, QA/QC comments, and design revisions Assist with clash coordination and constructability reviews Maintain organized project files and drawing sets Support site visits, field verification, and as‑built documentation as required Qualifications You are passionate about: Working collaboratively with others. You bring to the team: Associate degree in drafting, design, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in industrial facilities Strong proficiency with Revit and/or Plant 3D; AutoCAD required Proficient in utilizing Autodesk Forma for project execution Working knowledge of HVAC, piping, and industrial construction practices Effective communication and collaboration skills #LI-DD1 Additional Information Olsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
