Yard & Warehouse Receiver

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard and Warehouse Receiver position ensures all inbound materials are accurate and of high quality for all our customers. Responsibilities * Receive inbound shipments following our detailed process to ensure accuracy and quality. * Maintain personal and company quality assurance standards as set in corporate program. * Stock items are to be rotated when they are put away. * Keep yard and warehouses clean of debris and well organized. * Provide quality service to customers. * Crosstrain and assist in other yard roles as instructed by supervisor. * Conduct daily check of forklifts to ensure safe operation; report required maintenance or damage. * Work with the Receiving and Warehouse Specialist to ensure materials are stored in safe and proper locations in both the yard and inside warehouses. * Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner, as instructed. Qualifications * Forklift experience required. * General shipping and receiving experience an asset. * Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons * Ability to adapt to change. * Dependable and organized. * Excellent time management skills. * Able to follow instructions. * Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times. * Safety oriented. The Yard and Warehouse Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving inbound shipments and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the yard and warehouse. They must also operate equipment safely and provide quality service to customers while adhering to company standards.

Candidates must have forklift experience and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong organizational skills, dependability, and the ability to follow safety instructions are essential for this role.
