Role Description The Office Manager is a full-time on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations, including managing administrative processes, coordinating schedules, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. The Office Manager will support leadership and team members by organizing meetings, preparing documentation, and ensuring efficient information flow. The role includes supervising general office activities, responding to internal and public inquiries, and supporting customer service standards. The Office Manager will also help implement office policies and procedures that align with Ontario Government guidelines and contribute to a professional, inclusive, and service-oriented workplace. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. Experience in administrative assistance and office administration, including scheduling, records management, and coordination of daily office activities. Knowledge of office equipment and systems, with the ability to oversee their use, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Customer service skills, with a focus on courteous, timely, and respectful responses to public and internal inquiries. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools) and comfort learning new digital systems. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks. Experience in a public sector or government environment is an asset; familiarity with policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements is beneficial. Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary education in business administration, office management, or a related field is an asset.
