À propos

OntarioMD is focused on empowering Ontario community-based practices with the technology they need to enhance patient care. We do this by supporting physicians to optimize their use of electronic medical records (EMRs) and the provincial digital health tools, including those powered by AI, that are connected to EMRs. This gives physicians the essential patient data they need to provide the best patient care. We also support the provincial strategies to improve health care: Ontario Health Teams, Primary Care Teams, Primary Care Action Team and Ontario Health’s Patients Before Paperwork priority. OntarioMD also manages the only EMR Specifications and EMR Certification Program in Canada, ensuring that EMRs support the future clinical and usability needs of physicians' practices and the evolving health care environment. Learn more about our many complimentary services: - Digital health tools available to Ontario doctors and nurse practitioners - Consultation services from physician, nurse and clinic executive Peer Leaders who are experienced EMR users and understand a practice’s needs and challenges - Advice and guidance from the OMD Advisory Service to get the most benefit from EMRs and other health technologies OntarioMD is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ontario Medical Association and receives funding from the Province of Ontario.
