Project Manager - Capital Markets Data Solutions Role is for a business facing PM, not a technical PM Must have capital markets experience Must be able to work independently and face off with business Must have strong data skills SQL preferred JIRA preferred We are seeking an agile, efficient, and diligent Project Manager to join our Markets Program Execution & Transformation team. This team is responsible for the timely execution of deliverables across all transformative programs impacting Citi's Markets businesses, providing subject matter expertise, and ensuring successful implementation of large, transformative regulatory programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong project management background, professional acumen, familiarity with financial markets, and the ability to work effectively with modern tooling. Responsibilities: • Support the Program Initiative lead(s) to drive the execution of strategic deliverables across multiple projects, including large transformative regulatory programs. • Lead and participate in working groups, workshops, and stakeholder meetings to understand business requirements, define project plans, and manage timelines. • Provide subject matter expertise by offering guidance, support, and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with program strategy and data management practices. • Assist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes, and controls are effectively socialized and approved at the appropriate governance forum or level. • Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control, and Technology teams. • Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risks and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs. • Engage senior stakeholders by escalating and resolving issues as they arise, while maintaining professional acumen. • Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring them to various forums and committees, and utilizing data storytelling techniques to enhance understanding. • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined-up approach, to support the execution of programs. • Be comfortable with using modern AI tooling to improve project workflow and outcomes. Skills Required: • Strong and proven track record in strategic project management, delivering complex solutions, and managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation or similar Front Office roles. • Familiarity with Market Risk, Finance, and Capital concepts, as well as a solid understanding of financial markets. • Strong knowledge of data management practices, data structures, and data governance. • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and SQL. • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgment and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders. • Ability to deliver effective data storytelling and presentation skills to communicate complex information clearly. • A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance. • Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understanding different perspectives. • Thought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization. • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability. • 6+ years of relevant industry experience. Skills Preferred: • Experience in managing Capital Markets, Market Risk, and Regulatory-related projects. • Familiarity with Markdown and/or Python • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred. • Project Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent a strong plus.
