Millwright Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional who enjoys troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shifts available: Continental Days or Days/Afternoons- Monday to Friday Salary: 50$/h ++ ***This position is 20% outdoors*** Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical-related equipment issues. Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs quickly and effectively to minimize production downtime. Install, align, level, and commission new machinery and production equipment. Perform equipment rebuilds, modifications, and mechanical installations. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and schematics. Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur. Complete welding, fabrication, machining, and other mechanical repairs as required. Lubricate machinery and maintain equipment according to established maintenance schedules. Assist with equipment moves, installations, and plant improvement projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Work closely with production and maintenance teams to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime. Follow all company policies and procedures related to health and safety, lockout/tagout, and preventative maintenance. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license is preferred/required. 3+ years of experience working as a Millwright in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics. Experience with bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, and other industrial equipment. Welding and fabrication experience is an asset. Electrical troubleshooting experience is an asset. Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team. Strong communication and organizational skills.
