About The Opportunity Opticca Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and strategic IT Consultant that can leverage their technical expertise to create end-to-end solutions, meet client requirements, align with industry best practices, and drive long-term success. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to shape solutions that make a real impact. Whether you’re presenting technical concepts, guiding integration strategies, your expertise will be key to delivering excellence. This position offers a hybrid working environment, blending remote flexibility with on-site responsibilities in Quebec. Candidates must be located in Quebec, preference will be given to candidates based in Montreal. You can expect to Confer with clients to identify and document requirements. Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions. Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery. Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware. Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle. Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices. ‍ Must haves Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Post-secondary technical diploma (2 years) or a related field. 5+ years proven experience as IT Consultant or similar role, with a history of successful project implementation. ‍ Nice to haves Build strong relationships and fully understand the client’s business goals. Lead client and technical teams into tailoring solutions aligning with the client’s needs. Deliver engaging presentations and clearly communicate complex technical concepts in a way that is accessible and informative to all stakeholders. Assist in the response to RFPs, RFIs, and other technical documentation, ensuring clarity and precision. Provide expert knowledge and guidance in technology trends and best practices with a wide variety of organizations. Through assessing, analyzing, designing, and documenting solutions. Establish trust and loyalty with clients, becoming their trusted advisor. Clearly communicate effects of architectural decisions, technology costs, benefits, and implementation requirement to their business impact. Ensure compliance with industry specifications and standards. Educate clients and internal teams on best practices. Work closely with clients and internal teams to define business technology needs and align strategies for successful project delivery. Partner with sales to identify and qualify business opportunities, serving as a subject matter expert throughout the process. Thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while staying ahead of industry trends. Continuously deliver cutting-edge solutions and design an entire system that meet organizational objectives needs.

The IT Consultant will design and implement end-to-end information systems business solutions while aligning them with client requirements and industry best practices. They will also provide strategic advice on service delivery and assess technical security risks to data and hardware.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience as an IT Consultant and a post-secondary technical diploma. Proven success in project implementation and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders are essential.
