Position Summary Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, we are currently seeking a Merchandiser based in or around Vancouver to represent Organigram brands in retail cannabis locations in the province of BC. The main objective of this position is to increase brand awareness and staff education with both retail staff & consumers through education sessions, customer and public events as well as submitting feedback into the internal Organigram team. This role will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and BC Field Sales Rep team to prioritize high traffic retail for activations as well as meet key objectives within each region. Key Responsibilities: Learn and build expertise on the Organigram portfolio of brands through scheduled training sessions and ongoing learning. Conduct in store consumer intercepts (pop ups) at peak hours. Conduct budtender education sessions based off provincial objectives. Answer product related questions from budtenders and consumers. Engage with consumers at retail and submit feedback on Organigram brands and competitive activity. Work with Regional Sales Manager & FSR team to organize provincially run events across the region. Develop relationships & grow business at independent, regional and national accounts. Weekly competitive activity tracking. Follow provincial guidelines as outlined by the LCRB. Ensure accurate records for contact management & route planning. Work independently while covering large geographical area. Skills & Qualifications: “Selling It Right” certification. 1-2 years of experience in customer service and/or brand ambassador type role. Knowledge of cannabis market and trends considered an asset as well as knowledge of sales and marketing principles. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Punctual and able to follow a route plan/store schedule. Monday to Friday full-time hours with the ability to work occasional Saturdays. Based in the Vancouver or Lower Mainland region, preference for Vancouver, Burnaby or Tri-Cities. Valid drivers license and vehicle required. Travel required across the province.
