The technician is responsible for reviewing work orders, performing scheduled maintenance, and repairing automotive systems and components. They must also conduct road tests and estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle repairs.

Candidates must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience and 3 to 5 years of professional experience. A Trade Certification as an Automotive Service Technician is required.
