Role: Infrastructure Migration Lead Type: Full-Time Permanent · Remote Location: Canada / US (Working EST Time Zone) Responsibilities: Oversee the technical delivery and quality of managed migration engagements across your region. Direct Delivery Engineers, reviewing approach, execution plans, and cutover readiness. Convert customer and partner needs into executable migration blueprints and runbooks. Run discovery and assessments, size migration waves, and validate source and target environment readiness. Take hands-on ownership of high-risk migrations and critical cutovers. Collaborate closely with the assigned Senior Project Manager on scope, timeline, and risk management. Serve as the senior technical escalation point during active migration events. Shape repeatable delivery patterns and feed operational enhancements back into core tooling and playbooks. Experience: 8+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or migration delivery, with a track record in senior or lead capacities. Deep hands-on experience migrating workloads to and between AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or private cloud environments. Strong foundation in Linux and Windows Server, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networking (VPNs, routing, firewalls, hybrid connectivity), storage, and OS internals. Experience with enterprise-scale migration tooling and cutover orchestration. Ability to lead a small delivery team end-to-end and communicate clearly with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, or Bash). Comfortable working independently across time zones. Bonus Points Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP).
