Production Geologist Musselwhite Mine Orla Mining is striving to be the emerging gold producer of choice with a geographically diversified asset base, a prospective development and exploration portfolio, an experienced management team with a successful track record, and a high-quality board and shareholder base. Orla operates the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico. This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources. We are also advancing permitting and development on our South Railroad Project, a feasibility-stage, open-pit heap leach project located on the prolific Carlin trend in Nevada. This project is part our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package. We recently acquired the Musselwhite Mine located in Northern Ontario on Lake Opapimiskan, a gold mine with more than 25 years of operating history. The addition of Musselwhite has allowed Orla to more than double our gold production and provide a strategic entry into a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction. The Musselwhite Mine is highly prospective with potential to expand resources and mine life for years to come. Purpose We are seeking a motivated Production Geologist to join our team, reporting to the Senior Production Geologist. Responsibilities include: Provide effective grade control of the underground mine Perform sampling and mapping of underground headings and associated reporting Liaise with Engineering and Mining Departments to optimize grade control and operational efficiency Provide information for daily, weekly and monthly reporting Perform interpretation and modeling of lithology and mineralogy Design and manage delineation drilling programs Interpret geological data and model deposits Log diamond drill core as required Education and Experience: 4-year B.Sc. degree in Geology, or equivalent 2 - 5 years of relevant experience preferred Geo, or working towards designation Knowledge of Deswik and Acquire software’s is an asset Strong analytical and organization skills Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening, presentation) Ability to frequently lift, carry and push 55 lbs Ability to frequently reach below and at-shoulder level Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsible manner Experience working in a culturally diverse environment Working Conditions: The schedule for this position will consist of 14 days on and 14 days off, 12 hours per day. Compensation: • The salary range for this position is CAD $105,000 - $117,500 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications. • This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual short term incentive program. The target annual bonus for this position is 10% of base salary, subject to individual and company performance. • The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions.

Candidates must hold a 4-year B.Sc. degree in Geology and possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Deswik and Acquire software is considered an asset, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
