About The Role As an Automation Engineer at Trullii Modular Home Systems, you will be an integral part of our state-of-the-art modular house factory in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, maintain, and optimize the automation systems and robotics that drive our manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, quality, and safety of our production lines. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement automation solutions, including robotic systems, to optimize the manufacturing process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs, assess feasibility, and create project plans. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic systems and other automation equipment. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operation of automation systems. Monitor and improve the performance of automated processes to meet quality and production goals. Implement safety protocols and standards in automation systems to ensure a secure working environment. Provide technical support to production teams, assisting with automation-related issues. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in automation. Document system changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering or related field. Proven experience in automation and robotics, with a focus on industrial applications. Proficiency in programming languages such as PLC, C++, and Python. Knowledge of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent project management and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in an industrial environment.
