Job Purpose The Coordinator: Marketing is responsible for developing and coordinating marketing campaigns that promote the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) and its programs and positions to the public Duties and Responsibilities * Research, analyse, and determine target audiences, angles and positioning for various OHS programs and services * Research and make recommendations on which audiences, platforms, and formats to explore to maximize OHS reach and cost efficiency * Plan, optimize and implement digital display, mobile, video, social and SEM and SEO campaigns * Plan, implement and manage social digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube with potential to expand to other digital platforms * Analyze campaign KPIs and other performance data to optimize real-time performance and guide creative strategies * Report audience and campaign insights * Monitor media budgets and continuously improve cost efficiency * Contribute to social media and advertisement strategies * Develop social media strategies for marketing initiatives * Other administrative tasks as assigned * Support the activities of volunteers, students and work placements and provide training and orientation as required * Be thoroughly familiar with pertinent legislation, regulations, guidelines, OHS policies, procedures, collective agreement, and good animal care practices * Produce and maintain accurate reports, records, and files * Participate in supervision, evaluation, training and other meetings as required * Participate in the identification and evaluation of OHS program goals and objectives * Participate in professional development opportunities * Represent the OHS in a professional manner * Participate in public relations and promotional activities as required * May be required to assume some of the responsibilities of the Manager: Communications Qualifications * Post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing or other relevant program * Minimum of two years’ professional experience planning, implementing and evaluating marketing campaigns, writing and editing content for various marketing channels * SEM and SEO campaign management skills * Demonstrated experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics platforms * Proficiency and Microsoft Office Suite * Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop & InDesign and Illustrator preferred) * Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required Working Conditions/Physical Requirements * Employee may be required to work evening, holiday and weekend shifts * Employment is conditional upon maintaining confidentiality of OHS information * Employment is conditional upon the ability to work around all species of animals safely How to Apply If you are interested in this opportunity and have the above qualifications, please apply via the Ottawa Humane Society Careers Centre by clicking "Apply" and following the steps.
