Requirements vary based on the role’s specific needs, and shortlisted candidates will be contacted only for the roles for which they’re being considered. We're Looking For... Manager: Admissions and Rehoming leads a large, customer-focused department responsible for overseeing both the intake and successful adoption of animals. This role provides leadership and operational oversight to supervisors and frontline staff delivering essential animal welfare and community services, while ensuring a positive experience for adopters, pet owners, and community members. The Manager: Development Operations (CRM, Systems & Processes) oversees the systems, processes, and data that support the Ottawa Humane Society’s (OHS) fundraising programs, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all development activities. The Manager: Animal Care is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS) kennels and related programs. The coordinator: marketing plans, executes and evaluates marketing strategies to help the OHS achieve its goals in finding more second chances for Ottawa's animals, keeping more pets with the people who love them and educating our caring community. The Attendant: Animal Care is responsible for providing animal husbandry and cleaning of animal care facilities at the Ottawa Humane Society. This role is primarily focused on maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments; providing daily feeding and husbandry; walking dogs; supporting enrichment activities; and ensuring each animal's basic health, comfort, and welfare needs are consistently met. The Customer Service Representative (CSR): Foster is responsible for supporting the Ottawa Humane Society's foster program by coordinating foster placements, providing exceptional service and support to foster volunteers, and promoting the health and well-being of animals in foster care. This role includes matching animals with appropriate foster homes, monitoring animals in care, coordinating veterinary appointments and treatments, and maintaining accurate foster animal records, facilities, and equipment. 245 West Hunt Club Rd.
