Faculty -Medical Laboratory Assistant

Oulton College is expanding its team and seeking applicants for a Full-Time or Equivalent and Part-Time, permanent position of Medical Laboratory Assistant Instructor. Key Accountabilities Teaching and monitoring student progress with regular feedback. Combination of didactic teaching and labs. Record Keeping of Student Attendance and Grades Participate in team meetings and collaborative activities. Requirements Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification by the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS). At least 3-5 years of experience in a hospital setting. Have an interest in lifelong learning. The instructor will teach and monitor student progress through a combination of didactic lessons and laboratory sessions. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate records of student attendance and grades while participating in team meetings.

Candidates must hold a Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification from the CSMLS. Additionally, they are required to have 3-5 years of experience working in a hospital setting.
