Faculty - Medical Laboratory Technology

Oulton College is expanding its team and seeking applicants for a Full-Time or Equivalent, permanent position of Medical Laboratory Technology Instructor. Key Accountabilities Teaching and monitoring student progress with regular feedback. Combination of didactic teaching and labs. Record Keeping of Student Attendance and Grades Participate in team meetings and collaborative activities. Requirements Medical Laboratory Technologist licensed under the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologist (NBSMLT) and certified by the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS). *Note, if applying for outside of NB, you must be eligible for license with the NBSMLT* At least 3-5 years of experience in a hospital laboratory, ideally with experience in at least three of the five disciplines in laboratory science. Have an interest in lifelong learning. The instructor will teach and monitor student progress through a combination of didactic lessons and laboratory sessions. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate records of student attendance and grades while participating in team meetings.

Candidates must be licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technologist with the NBSMLT and certified by the CSMLS. A minimum of 3-5 years of hospital laboratory experience is required, ideally covering at least three of the five laboratory science disciplines.
