Family Lawyer

About the Role Outset Law is a boutique family law firm based in Vancouver. We act in parenting disputes, support matters, and high net worth cases involving businesses, trusts, and significant assets. We are looking for a family lawyer who wants to build a serious practice in a firm designed to support long-term success. This role offers autonomy over your files, meaningful collaboration on complex matters, and a structure that allows lawyers to do their best work without the constant pressure that defines many traditional firms. The position is suited to a lawyer who is already practicing family law in British Columbia and is comfortable managing files, appearing in court, and working directly with clients. Too many excellent family lawyers are burnt out. The expectation is constant availability, relentless billing pressure, and a practice that eventually takes over your entire life. Must be a practicing member of the Law Society of British Columbia with 1 to 10 years of family law experience. Requires proven experience appearing in both Provincial and Supreme Courts of BC.
