Position Scope: The Shipping Checker reports to the Shipping & Receiving Department Head and ensures all customer requirements are met by preparing accurate documentation and confirming the correct product and quantity are loaded. For incoming loads, the checker reviews packing notes, checks packaging for damage or debris, and conducts mandatory product temperature checks. For outgoing shipments, responsibilities include inspecting containers, verifying product lots against master sheets, and cross-referencing box codes with sales orders. Work Environment & Physical * On-site in a manufacturing environment with exposure to plant operations. * Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. * Regular exposure to cold storage environments. Qualifications & Experience: * Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent. * Computer literacy would be considered an asset. * Experience within Shipping would be considered an asset.
