About The Role In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in HVAC OEM equipment, with a focus on energy recovery and VRV systems, while contributing directly to the evolution of our product portfolio. You will apply your design skills to develop and refine solutions for both standard and custom applications, bringing a high level of precision and attention to detail to your work. Beyond day‑to‑day design, you will take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives, helping enhance existing products and drive meaningful design changes. You’ll also collaborate closely with Product Development Designers and Engineers to support new product launches, giving you exposure to the full product lifecycle in a fast‑paced, innovative environment. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Product Management, ERP Management, Software Engineering, Marketing, Sales & Application Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to support: Assistance with Full-scale modelling and drafting for new products. Product testing and certification. Sourcing of prototype components and leading in-house assembly. Develop BOMs and support ERP Management with Epicor integration. Support Software with product detail implementation. Provide support material for Marketing including brochure data, product renders, 3D Printed Models, and IO&Ms. Population of sales drawings and other submittal related details for Sales & Applications. Support Manufacturing with product documentation development such as Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Modify standard units to design for custom applications by developing special production details and managing custom BOMs. Support Operations with production run builds and continuous improvement. Experience And Skills Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 3+ years experience in HVAC OEM design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with 3D CAD Modelling (SolidWorks preferred). Knowledge of basic principles, methods, and practices of sheet metal design and fabrication. Experience with heat recovery units would be an asset. Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems is an asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment in a hands-on position. Team player with positive attitude, excellent collaborative, and interpersonal skills. Excellent ability to multitask and work efficiently within deadlines. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and documentation practices. Strong attention to detail and highly organized. Highly coachable with a willingness to learn and be part of a dynamic team environment.
