Join Our Team! Pacific Coastal Airlines is looking for a Temporary Full Time Inside Sales Coordinator based at the South Terminal of Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in Richmond, BC. This position operates in a hybrid work model, combining in-office and remote work, with frequent travel throughout British Columbia. We are seeking a candidate who has previous experience working in sales. The candidate will be joining the Commercial Services department and will be responsible for coordinating the implementation and management of sales with clients in order to meet company targets for growth and profitability. Reporting to the Manager, Business Development and Sales, the Inside Sales Coordinator provides key support in charter services and is the main contact for travel trade, programs, and groups. This role will work closely with charter clients, travel agents, tour operators, and consolidators as well as promote flight programs such as Group travel, QuikPass, Government travel, and discount programs like BCAA and ISICSTUDENT. The Inside Sales Coordinator is sales minded and will help grow Pacific Coastal Airlines revenue and overall market share. Working with existing clients, new inquires, generated leads, and exploring new opportunities, this position will provide support for all business development initiatives. *This is a temporary position till September 27th, 2027 Job Responsibilities: Charter Services Provides secondary support and vacation coverage to the Manager, Charter Sales & Program Assists to funnel charter sales opportunities Liaisons with Manager, Charter Sales & Program when assisting clients who are considering either a group or charter product Travel Trade Develop business relationships with travel agencies, tour operators (inbound & outbound), and consolidators in order to maintain and further grow current revenue Generate new business with agents using a consultative sales process Manages accounts at all levels to increase sales Supports the sales pipeline reporting system, strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with strategic direction as determined by the Manager, Business Development and Sales Manages and develops programs such as agency stand-by, ID50, and other travel incentives Manages monthly commission reports Programs Primary contact for QuikPass, Government, BCAA and ISICSTUDENT products Provides strategic customer service support for QuikPass program, inactive accounts, trouble-shooting, and general inquiries from QuikPass clients Product expert, builds on the knowledge to provide travel solutions to all clients Establishes and manages relationships with new and existing clients to maintain and further grow travel spend by identifying new opportunities for sales Develops and manages QuikPass, Government, BCAA and ISICSTUDENT sales reports for monthly review Creates QuikPass inactivity notifications on a quarterly and monthly basis Group Travel This position is the main contact for all aspects of group travel Follow-up all group inquires leads, and sales Leads, implements, and manages the account processes for all group travel (report tracking of all confirmed group bookings) Working with the Manager, Business Development of Sales helps develop and maintain sales targets, growth strategies, and any budget requirements Develops and maintains relationships with key group contacts Implement a formal client satisfaction and follow-up procedure Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Diploma, Degree, Certificate from recognized University, College, or Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) in travel, marketing, or sales is preferred Experience with travel agencies, corporate accounts, tour operators, Government and Indigenous communities an asset Understanding of aviation reservation systems (AmeliaRES), or other charter processing software is highly desirable A minimum of 1 year of sales experience Experience within the aviation industry is a strong asset Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Excellent people, communication and leadership abilities Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success Demonstrated skill in research and analysis Advanced level of Microsoft Office in particular Excel Excellent customer service and listing skills Highly motivated, energetic, proactive and persistent, able to seize opportunities that arise High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility Maintain high level of professional standards at all time Ability to develop, maintain, and grow relationships Why Pacific Coastal Airlines?
