Company Description Pacific Physiotherapy Clinic serves patients across Guelph, Mississauga, and Hamilton in Ontario, Canada, with a strong focus on achieving measurable results. The clinic uses an integrated approach that combines physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage therapy, and shockwave therapy to support natural healing. By coordinating multiple treatment methods, Pacific Physiotherapy aims to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall wellness. Team members work in a collaborative environment that values evidence-informed practice and patient-centered care. Role Description This is a part-time/ full time, on-site Physiotherapist role based in Hamilton. The Physiotherapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide hands-on therapy using techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education. Daily responsibilities include documenting clinical findings, monitoring progress, adjusting treatment plans, and collaborating with other practitioners in physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage, and shockwave therapy. The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term rehabilitation strategies, while maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and ethical practice. Qualifications Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities, including musculoskeletal evaluation, functional movement analysis, and evidence-informed decision making. Proficiency in therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education; experience with modalities like acupuncture, massage therapy, or shockwave therapy is an asset. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, and provide clear instructions and feedback. Solid organizational and documentation skills, including accurate charting, time management, and adherence to clinic protocols and regulatory standards. Current licensure or registration in good standing as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Ontario. Relevant degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution; additional certifications in manual therapy, sports rehabilitation, or related specialties are beneficial. Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and delivering inclusive, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population.
