Résumé du poste

At PakFactory, HR is the architect of our scale. It's about designing the infrastructure that allows a company to grow without losing its soul—shaping its architecture, aligning its talent, and solidifying its performance culture. We're looking for a HR Generalist / HR Lead who thrives in blank-canvas environments. Working directly alongside our CEO, you won't just be maintaining systems—you will be designing them from zero. You will be the mastermind behind our organizational design, our compliance frameworks, and our very first end-to-end performance management ecosystem. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for a builder. You will take a scaling company with minimal existing HR infrastructure and transform it into a highly organized, compliant, and high-performing machine. You won't be stepping into a fully built HR department. You'll be helping build it. What you'll own CEO Partnership & Org Design: Partner directly and closely with the CEO to architect, map, and roll out the entire corporate framework from scratch—establishing reporting lines, career architecture, leveling matrices, and title structures. Performance Culture Infrastructure: Design and launch our very first end-to-end performance management ecosystem—including evaluation frameworks, goal-setting (OKRs/KPIs) processes, continuous feedback loops, and compensation review structures. Protected Case Management: Manage complex employee relations, human rights accommodations, and statutory job-protected leaves while mitigating company risk. HR Strategy & Policy Blueprint: Draft, architect, and continuously evolve the company's foundational HR policies, compliance frameworks, employment templates, and our comprehensive Employee Handbook. Deep Canadian Compliance: Ensure absolute alignment with the Employment Standards Act (ESA), Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA), Ontario Human Rights Code, WSIB requirements, and evolving federal/provincial employment legislation. Total Rewards & WSIB Leadership: Oversee and scale benefits administration, payroll structure changes, and strategic HR reporting. Own workplace injury management, return-to-work strategies, and comprehensive communication with WSIB. End-to-End Talent Lifecycle: Architect and oversee the full employee lifecycle—from strategic talent acquisition and executive onboarding to engagement metrics, probation reviews, and offboarding strategies. Office & Operational Excellence: Direct high-level office administration, vendor relationships, facilities management, and administrative projects in collaboration with senior leadership. Process Automation: Evaluate, select, and deploy HRIS tools (e.g., Zoho People) and automated workflows to strip out administrative friction. You're a fit if you Are a foundational builder who is energized by ambiguity and creating order out of chaos. Possess a strong strategic mind but aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to write policies and handle day-to-day operations yourself. Thrive in a direct, high-alignment partnership with a CEO to shape corporate strategy. Are completely unshakeable when dealing with complex human dynamics and sensitive legal boundaries. Have a deep, intuitive understanding of Canadian employment law and how to apply it commercially in agile environments. What we're looking for Must-have 3+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Lead, Senior Generalist, or standalone People Ops role.
