Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Prepare tenders and quotations. Supervise other workers. Clean and prepare surfaces. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists. Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools. Prepare wall and ceiling layouts. Utilize laser alignment system. Estimate costs and materials. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
