Job Summary: The Corporate Accounting Analyst is responsible for processing monthly journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, allocating costs, and actively participating in the month-end close process. This role supports the wider finance department to ensure accurate, timely reporting, while assisting with tax functions, audits, and ad-hoc corporate projects Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries, intercompany transactions, cost allocations Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations Collaboratively support the Accounting & Reporting team to meet tight reporting deadlines with precision Assist with corporate tax filings and provide required documentation and administrative support for internal and external audits Active involvement in accounting for new initiatives and ad hoc projects Additional duties, as assigned Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting, General Accounting, or a related accounting function Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end close activities Working knowledge of General Ledger accounting principles and financial reporting processes Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, and spreadsheet management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Financial Reporting, or a related accounting environment Experience with intercompany accounting, cost allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations Experience supporting tax filings, internal audits, and external audits Construction industry accounting experience Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial data analysis CPA designation or active progress toward CPA certification is considered an asset Demonstrated ability to support process improvements, special projects, and new business initiatives Physical Demands: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to effectively communicate, (ie see, hear, speak and write clearly) in order to communicate with colleagues and/or customers; manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment Working Conditions: In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 DOE
