Parallel is a Restaurant and Manufactory of Sesame butter (Tahini) located at the trendy Geary Avenue. We are looking for bartenders with serving experience (Barissta knowlodge is a bonus)! If you have a passion for the industry and love food, craft cocktails and beer, we would love to hear from you! *$17.60/hr. plus tips.* *Qualifications:* * 3+ years working as bartender in a fast-paced environment * 1+ years working as a barista is a bonus * Open availability (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are a must) * Able to engage with guests and talk about Parallel's products * Excellent communication skills * Must have serving experience * Cocktail knowledge is a must * Knowledge of specialty coffee * Positive attitude and self motivation * Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills * Familiar with POS systems and payment terminals *Responsibilities* * Opening/Closing duties * Bar/Restaurant set up * Making cocktails and coffees * Serving bar tables and supporting server on the floor * Ensure food service and quality control * Maintain cleanliness of storefront and patio * Knowledge of food and bar beverages Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.60 per hour Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Store discount Experience: * serving: 2 years (preferred) * Bartending: 3 years (required) * Barista: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
