Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Casual Morgan Creek Seniors Community is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses to join our long-term care team on a casual basis. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, resident-centred nursing care in accordance with established standards, policies, care plans, and regulatory requirements. The LPN works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to support the health, comfort, dignity, and quality of life of residents. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Complete resident assessments and monitor changes in health status Document care, observations, incidents, and interventions accurately and promptly Communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate physician, nurse, family member, or member of the care team Provide direction and support to Health Care Assistants and other care staff Participate in care conferences, shift reports, and interdisciplinary communication Respond appropriately to emergencies and unexpected changes in resident condition Maintain resident privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and safety Follow infection prevention and control practices, occupational health and safety requirements, and organizational policies Qualifications Current registration and good standing with the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives Current CPR certification Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program Previous experience in long-term care, seniors care, or a similar setting is preferred Strong communication, documentation, assessment, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, reliability, and sound clinical judgment Position Details This is a casual position with shifts offered based on operational requirements and employee availability. Applicants should be available for a variety of shifts, which may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and statutory holidays.

Exigences
