Reporting to the Facilities Manager/Senior housekeeper, the successful candidate will be responsible for the weekly cleaning of “Parsons Staff/Management Accommodations” in Faro, YT. This is a part-time position. Local candidates preferred as this position will require working part-time hours on a weekly basis in Faro, YT. This position includes membership in the United Steelworkers Local 925. The hourly wage for this position is $26.38. What You'll Be Doing: General cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sweeping. Hallways vacuumed daily(suites). Ensure kitchen area is neat, tidy, and sanitized after check-out. Garbage is taken out daily(suites). Ensuring building front entrance is clean and garbage taken out(suites). Weekly collection of recyclable bottles on each floor/house. Dusting window ledges and baseboards. Weekly linen changes. Weekly towel changes. All dirty linen washed, folded, and put away in linen closet. Keeping housekeeping carts clean and organized. Sanitize washroom, including shower/tub, sink, mirrors, and floors. Daily organization and cleanliness of building laundry facilities. Reporting any safety issues to Facilities Management. Report needed cleaning and toiletries supplies. Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends. What Required Skills You'll Bring: Training/Able to perform all required onsite and offsite custodial duties. High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience Must be able to stand for long period of time Ability to lift up to 20 kg Valid class 5 driver’s license Proven ability to concentrate, pay attention to detail, organize, priority set and be a team player Proven understanding of safe work practices and mitigating risk Ability to work with little supervision and function in a multidiscipline environment This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. The custodian is responsible for the weekly cleaning and maintenance of staff and management accommodations in Faro, YT. Duties include sanitizing washrooms, managing laundry, handling waste, and ensuring general cleanliness of the facility.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The role requires the ability to lift up to 20 kg, stand for long periods, and possess a valid class 5 driver's license.
