Our Pilot Truck Drivers are committed to delivering exceptional service by assisting our Truck Drivers in the transport of oversized equipment for the dealership, ensuring the load reaches the destination safely. Responsibilities Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects Follow all safety rules and regulations Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers and customers Requirements Know how to load, secure, transport a wide variety of cargo Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays, be on-call Adaptable to changing environment Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device considered an asset A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent Agriculture background/experience, knowledge of towing ag equipment considered an asset Valid driver’s license 1A Driver’s License, experience driving trucks (to operate heavy, oversized and semi equipment) would be considered an asset Ability to travel for long periods of time; some overnight trips may be required CONNECT with us today!
