Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Manager to oversee our daily cash operations, liquidity planning, and banking relationships. This role will be the primary point of contact for treasury-related service requests and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our banking infrastructure, interest rate management, and foreign exchange conversions. The Treasury Manager will act as a key partner to finance and operations teams, maintaining rigorous financial controls and supporting strategic cash optimization. Key Responsibilities Cash Management & Liquidity Planning Oversee daily cash operations, including payment approvals (manual payments, ACH, global payments) and fund transfers between accounts. Perform monthly Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting in collaboration with FP&A. Execute FX conversions (e.g., USD to CAD) based on current rates, favorability, and liquidity needs. Manage cash allocation between partners to maximize interest earnings while maintaining necessary liquidity. Banking Operations & Controls Serve as the primary lead for daily banking service requests, including opening/closing accounts and managing banking service inquiries. Own Bank Access Entitlements control, ensuring appropriate system access, quarterly reviews, and security compliance. Monitor bank charges on a monthly basis, investigating significant variances and leading negotiations to optimize costs. Ensure rigorous segregation of duties and documentation for all treasury-related financial and operational controls. Analysis & Strategic Support Lead FBO (For Benefit Of) Account Reconciliation reviews, including: Summarizing monthly reconciliations. Reviewing ageing of open items and analyzing collectibility/write-offs. Tying back Due to/from Operating account balances to GL balances. Review Transfer Pricing (TP) calculations to ensure formulas are correct and aligned with expectations. Support corporate insurance renewals on an annual basis. Lead ad-hoc treasury projects, including India banking requirements and regulatory compliance updates. Manage the reporting of quarterly KPIs and monitor the implementation backlog. Review tax credit options, including IRA tax credits and ensure tax opportunities align with the company’s risk profile and target tax volume objectives. Review transfer pricing (TP) calculations to ensure formulaic accuracy and adherence to expectations. Payroll & Accounting Oversight Conduct period-over-period change analysis for payroll cycles to identify and resolve discrepancies. Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for all payroll-related accounts. Walk through update methodologies and provide file access to ensure payroll data integrity. Qualifications and Skills Education: University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of relevant treasury or financial operations experience. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for reconciliation, forecasting, and analysis). Experience with banking portals and electronic payment systems. Knowledge of FX markets and cash management principles. Abilities: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding bank reconciliation and audit readiness. Ability to manage tight deadlines and high-volume daily transactional environments. Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams (FP&A, Tax) and external banking partners. Salary Range: 110k-150K EEO Statement Paymentus is an equal opportunity employer.
