In this role, you’ll play a key part in bringing construction projects to life — designing structural trusses that are safe, efficient, and cost-effective. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with clients, ensuring every design meets both technical standards and real-world application. What You’ll Do Design & Engineering Create accurate, code-compliant structural truss designs Perform calculations to ensure structural integrity and safety Optimize designs for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability Interpret architectural drawings and specifications Select appropriate materials and components Participate in ongoing training (e.g., MiTek) Project Management Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion Ensure timelines and budgets are met Provide technical support during construction and implementation Quality Assurance Conduct detailed design reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy Stay current with building codes, regulations, and industry standards Collaboration & Client Interaction Work closely with sales, operations, and production teams Consult with clients to understand needs and recommend solutions Participate in client meetings and presentations Documentation & Reporting Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports Maintain accurate project documentation Provide updates to leadership on project progress Innovation & Continuous Improvement Explore new technologies, tools, and materials Contribute to improving design standards and best practices Health & Safety Follow all safety regulations and company policies Participate in required training and promote a safe work environment What You Bring Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Engineering Technology (CET) Strong understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations Experience with industry-related design software and tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects Effective communication and collaboration skills Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow Why Join Our Team?
