Instrumentation Technician - Shutdown - Lacombe County, Alberta (Job Number: 634349) PCL Energy is seeking experienced Journeyperson Instrumentation Technicians to join us for a shutdown at a major project in Lacombe County, AB. Start date: September 8, 2026 Shift Details First week: 4 days on, 10 hours/day (Day shift) Remaining duration: 7 days on, 10 hours/day (Night shift) Work Conditions & Remuneration Journeyperson base wage: $52.00/hr +$3.00/hr night shift premium LOA: $165 per day worked for eligible craft Travel allowance (drive in/drive out): $113.00 per rotation for eligible craft 10% vacation/stat pay 4.0% RSP contribution 4.0% pension, including employer matching Must successfully pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test Must have own transportation Safety training provided As an Instrumentation Technician for our PCL Energy Edmonton District, you will contribute to our team by: Holding a valid Instrumentation Technician trade ticket Demonstrating excellent communication skills Being able to work in a team or alone Taking direction and following established work processes Being safety conscious and adhering to all PCL safety processes and policies Meeting qualification and training requirements based on specific work conditions Working outdoors in various weather conditions Other qualifications may be required Company: PCL Energy Inc. The technician will perform instrumentation work during a project shutdown in Lacombe County. Responsibilities include following established work processes and adhering to all safety policies while working independently or in a team.

Candidates must hold a valid Instrumentation Technician trade ticket and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test. Own transportation is required to access the work site.
