The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Temporary Elementary Teacher at Lloyd Garrison School. This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and will continue until June 29, 2027. The successful candidate will be teaching Grades 1 and 2. Lloyd Garrison School has a population of students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Students thrive from the small community feeling the school exhibits. To learn more about the school, click. The school is located in the Village of Berwyn, approximately 11kms from the town of Grimshaw and 40kms from Peace River. Qualifications Experience working in a multi-grade classroom Experience in Elementary Education Knowledge of the Alberta Program of Studies Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents A demonstrated commitment to student achievement Ability to differentiate instruction Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting Assets knowledge and skills in German and English programming Requirements Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Provide an acceptable current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application. This teaching position falls under the collective agreement between the . Annual Salary Range: $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
