Full-Time Temporary Gr. 3 Teacher - 2026-2027

The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.0 f.t.e.) Temporary Grade 3 Teacher at Grimshaw Public School. This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and continue until June 29, 2027. The initial assignment will include all Grade 3 programming, excepting Physical Education & Wellness. Grimshaw Public School is an exciting and dynamic school located in the town of Grimshaw, 20 kms west of Peace River. The school serves students from grades K-12. Qualifications Training and/or successful teaching experience at the elementary level Ability to differentiate instruction. A demonstrated commitment to student achievement. Effective classroom management. Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Ability to coach team sport at a high school level. Requirements Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of application.
