The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) High School Teacher at the Virtual Education Program (VEP) . This position will commence on August 27, 2026, and be working from the Peace Regional Outreach Campus. The initial assignment will include Math, General Science, Chemistry and Biology. Peace River School Division’s Virtual Education Program (VEP) is available for students in grades 10 to 12 in all PRSD schools. Students receiving instruction through the Virtual Education Program have access to specialized teachers in all subject areas, regardless of the geographic location or school size. Qualifications Experience and/or training in teaching senior high level grades. Excellent communications skills with students, staff and parents. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure student success. Proven ability to differentiate lessons to support students’ achievement. A keen understanding of assessment practices. The ability to use technology to support learning in the classroom . Requirements Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate. Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application. This position will remain open until suitable candidate is secured. Annual Salary Range: $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
