PeakTew is a social media app aiming to connect more people with the real world. Our team consists of passionate individuals from over a dozen different countries. This offer is aimed at those willing to take part in a startup project during their free time to learn more about the professional world and gain international work experience. This implies being ready to commit some time every week to the project. As a UX Designer, you will contribute to shaping PeakTew’s artistic identity. Your missions: You will research and analyze user needs, behaviors, and feedback to improve PeakTew’s overall user experience. You will design user flows, information architecture, and usability tests to ensure intuitive navigation. You will work closely with UI designers and developers to transform insights into user-centered design solutions. You will attend weekly meetings to discuss progress, share findings, and align with the product vision. This is an online role, meaning that you would be working remotely. You will be required to meet deadlines and produce qualitative work (reflecting the best you can deliver). Yet, we remain available to advise and help you anytime you need. This role will also be unpaid, as PeakTew is a student-led project that isn’t (yet) generating revenue This opportunity will enable you to: Gain international work experience (valuable on your resume). Expand your global network, primarily in Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Receive high-quality mentorship (hard/soft skills and languages). Obtain the opportunity to become a permanent employee in a future Unicorn Company. Competencies required: Convenient English level (PeakTew operates in English) Own a Drawing Pad / Graphic Tablet (since most of our Designs are handmade) Have Design Software knowledge, i.e., Figma, Photoshop, etc. An autonomous mindset (ability to have excellent communication and teamwork) Quick learner Outside-of-the-box thinker At PeakTew, we value anyone with true motivation and work consistency.
