<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><b><strong>Job Summary</strong></b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced <b><strong>Metal Fabricator</strong></b> with strong hands-on experience working with <b><strong>heavy metal and structural steel</strong></b>. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, fitting, welding, and assembling heavy metal components according to drawings, measurements, and specifications.</p><p><b><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></b></p><ul><li>Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.</li><li>Measure, mark, cut, drill, fit, and fabricate heavy metal components.</li><li>Work with structural steel, plate, angle iron, channel, beams, and other heavy-gauge materials.</li><li>Perform MIG and/or stick welding on heavy metal components.</li><li>Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, plasma/oxy-fuel cutting equipment, and other shop machinery.</li><li>Set up and position materials using clamps, fixtures, hoists, and lifting equipment.</li><li>Perform grinding, finishing, and preparation of fabricated components.</li><li>Inspect completed work to ensure proper dimensions, fit, alignment, and quality.</li><li>Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Qualifications</strong></b></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience as a <b><strong>Metal Fabricator</strong></b>, preferably in a heavy fabrication environment.</li><li>Strong experience working with heavy-gauge steel and structural metal.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.</li><li>Strong knowledge of measurements, layouts, and fabrication techniques.</li><li>Experience with MIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding is an asset.</li><li>Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery.</li><li>Comfortable working with heavy materials and performing physically demanding tasks.</li><li>Good attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.</li></ul><p><b><strong>What We Offer</strong></b></p><ul><li>Competitive hourly wage based on experience.</li><li>Full-time, steady work.</li><li>Opportunity to work in a professional heavy-fabrication environment.</li><li>Potential for long-term employment and growth.</li></ul><p><b><strong>Apply today with your resume and relevant fabrication experience.</strong></b></p></div></div>
