Part-Time Warehouse Technician

Overview PepsiCo Foods Canada has an opening for a Part-Time Warehouse Technician at our Ottawa Distribution Center! Compensation: $23.73 during probationary period Shift: 9am- 7pm, 3-4 days per week Responsibilities Strapping and bundling cardboard Loading/Unloading shipments Picking orders from the warehouse Gathering pallet boards Various sanitation duties as required Work in an ergonomically correct manner Qualifications Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred Excellent communication skills Forklift and warehouse experience an asset Proficiency with computers OSSD or equivalent required Flexible –Willingness to work off shifts and weekends Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, grasping and stair climbing Results Oriented Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines Able to lift 50 pounds Steel toed safety boots required Team-based approach to decision making

The role involves loading and unloading shipments, picking orders, and performing sanitation duties within the warehouse. Technicians are also responsible for strapping cardboard and gathering pallet boards while maintaining ergonomic safety standards.

Candidates should have an OSSD or equivalent and the ability to lift 50 pounds and perform various physical movements. Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment and forklift proficiency are preferred assets.
