Planet Ford is currently seeking a Parts Receiver to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving orders, inspecting shipments, sorting parts, and dispatching drivers. The ideal candidate will have aspirations to become a Parts Advisor. Dispatching parts drivers. Assisting in delivery as required. Unpacking and marking incoming parts and storing them in the stockroom according to a prearranged system. Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place. Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control. Review and process Ford warranty reports, including identifying and coordinating the return of warranty cores and related items to Ford. Other duties as required by management. What do you need to succeed? Personable, adaptable, great at multitasking, and versatile. Must have availability to work Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, alternating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. 1-2 years of similar experience and extensive product knowledge. CDK experience is considered an asset Willing to work as a member of a team and interact with others in a professional and courteous manner. A proven self-starter that can work well under pressure. A strong performer with excellent attention to detail. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. A High School diploma or GED. Strong computer skills. Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed. Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record. What’s in it for you? Job Type: Full Time - Permanent Compensation (expected hourly wage): $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. The starting rate will be set within this range based on job-related factors such as relevant skills and experience.
