As Technical Sales Consultant, Infrastructure, you will play a key role in identifying potential PERI customers for Infrastructure and Industrial (I&I) projects. This includes establishing and maintaining relationships with engineering firms, general contractors, formwork/scaffolding contractors and market influencers. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you leverage your technical knowledge to acquire, develop and sustain business through new and existing customers’ projects. Covering the I&I segments, you look after bridges, tunnels, water treatment plants, petrochemical plants, processing plants, power plants, and mining facilities. As the customer's main contact, your role is to ensure to engage and collaborate with other departments in order to maximize customer satisfaction (Finance, Operations, Engineering). While sales activities are fundamental to this role, project management and administration are also key to being successful. What You'll Do On a Typical Day Identify and pursue major infrastructure/industrial projects and smaller regional projects in the territory Identify potential PERI customers with a focus on establishing and maintaining relationships with engineering firms, general contractors, formwork contractors and market influencers Meet with potential customers to review project needs Assist customers to properly understand and interpret PERI invoices to ensure that customers follow-through with payments Document upcoming and existing projects to build a solid pipeline through the company CRM Business development of multi-segment contractors (in cooperation with the regional TSC when working with existing accounts) Create high quality quotes, including 3D models and/or animations with the support of Engineering and Marketing departments Calculate prices for formwork and scaffolding solutions to provide the safest and most cost-effective solution for customers Manage long term sale cycles by planning strategic client meetings and presentations to influence bids Determine and meet decision makers during tender process and understanding their requirements/needs Develop and implement customer specific strategies aligned with the overall strategy of the company Negotiate contracts for a win-win result by leveraging a consultative approach that maximizes value for the customers and their projects Collaborate with other departments to ensure that PERI delivers a positive customer experience Conduct Lunch & Learn sessions for but not limited to potential customers, engineering firms, industry associations, etc Ensure that projects are executed properly by providing on site job support and coordination of internal communications to ensure PERI is trusted for integrity, professionalism, and expertise Communication with the Regional Manager regarding projects and activities to ensure optimal effectiveness and success Engage in ongoing market research to stay up to date with trends, changes, and growth activity within territory Pursue revenue-generating endeavors and introduce new product/solutions/approaches to the market Through an entrepreneurial spirit, you actively pursue revenue-generating endeavors Other related duties as assigned What You'll Need To Be Successful A post-secondary education (a degree in Engineering or Construction related is a plus) or field experience in the construction industry 2 years + of experience in Sales/Project Management or 3 years + of experience in formwork/scaffolding/construction industry Technical knowledge of PERI products and their use is an asset Ability to understand and read engineered structural drawings is an asset Experience with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint Fluent in English, additional languages are an asset What Your Benefits Will Be $70,000 - $75,000 per year, plus commission Health (including paramedical), Vision & Dental Life Insurance Short-Term & Long-Term Disability Company Matching RRSP Tuition Reimbursement Car Allowance Performance Bonus We thank all applicants for their interest in the position; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Exigences

Requires a post-secondary education or construction field experience, with at least 2 years in sales/project management or 3 years in the formwork/scaffolding industry. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to read structural drawings are highly valued.
