Petawise Technologies Inc. Location: Concord, Ontario (In Office) Lead the Future of Product Strategy at Petawise Petawise Technologies is Canada’s Master Distributor for Uniview, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of physical security solutions. We service security integrators, distributors, consultants, and enterprise customers across the country. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced industry leader to join our executive team as Director, Product Management & Technical Services. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for guiding Petawise’s product portfolio, strengthening our technical capabilities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring our customers have access to industry-leading security technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and executive leadership while serving as the primary liaison with our manufacturing partners. Key Responsibilities Product Management Develop and execute Petawise’s product strategy and roadmap. Evaluate and introduce new products and technologies to the Canadian market. Manage product lifecycle planning, including product launches, transitions, and end-of-life (EOL) programs. Conduct competitive product analysis and identify emerging market opportunities. Work closely with Sales to ensure the product portfolio aligns with customer and market requirements. Supplier & Factory Management Serve as the primary technical and product liaison with manufacturing partners. Manage product planning, forecasting, and strategic supplier relationships. Coordinate new product introductions and technical updates. Provide product feedback based on customer and market intelligence. Technical Leadership Lead the company’s technical services and product support strategy. Support the Sales Engineering team with product expertise and technical guidance. Oversee product validation, testing, documentation, and technical standards. Develop technical training programs for employees, partners, and customers. Participate in trade shows, customer events, supplier meetings, and industry conferences. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of leadership experience within the physical security industry. Strong knowledge of video surveillance, networking, or related technologies. Demonstrated experience in product management, product marketing, engineering, or technical leadership. Experience working with international manufacturers and supplier relationships. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Strong commercial understanding with the ability to balance technical requirements and business objectives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Willingness to travel within Canada as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with security manufacturers. Experience managing product portfolios and product lifecycle planning. Knowledge of IP networking and cloud-based security technologies. Why Join Petawise?
