Performing checks for jacking forces and earthloading and impact loading. • Provide shaft construction alternatives to the client where site constraints and proximity to utilities limited construction methods. Considering construction method and geometry alternatives. • Submitted methodology for hand-mining operations reviewed and approved on first draft by the city of Toronto and the TTC. • Developed effective solutions to small but time consuming problems, specifically in the production phase, saving hours on pipe changes, expediting the schedule. • Produced procedural documents and risk management plans for complex tie-in operations, coordinating with Toronto Water and Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant. • Diligently review IFC and as-built drawings prior to mobilization of a site to ensure no discrepancies were missed. • While installing liner plate through weathered shale, encountered a shoring structure not indicated on as-builts. Developed a system for removing and abandoning the shoring system to prevent any significant delays. • Provided clients with multiple solutions when a change order was issued redesigning the system, affecting the constructability of the system. Ultimately implementing a solution to allow for the swift completion of the remainder of the project. • Developed a job specific confined space entry protocol, due to the unknown stability of the previously installed casing.     Multinational microtunnelling contractor with operations in Ireland, Canada and the US. • Took an 8-month leave of absence in order to complete my degree in Civil Engineering • Constructing deep caissons of depths upwards of 40 meters which created significant and unique geological issues which were solved at site level. • Ensured health and safety compliance on-site, monitoring and ensuring that confined space protocols are being followed. • Overcame logistic challenges of working on confined job sites requiring precise coordination of material and equipment. • During sinking caisson operations, monitored ground conditions, noting transitions and adjusting excavation methods accordingly to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives. • Efficiently adapted to design changes on site, reconfiguring construction methods when necessary to suit design changes. • Assisted PM in scheduling and staging system shutdowns for critical tie-ins at pumping stations, liaising with regional authorities and construction crews. • Implemented a system for tracking the torque sequence of large diameter bolted connections. Improving the productivity of the process by 50%. • While completing time sensitive mechanical installations during the COVID-19 pandemic, simple and cost effective solutions were found when modifications to mechanical elements were required.
