We are currently seeking a Project Manager to support capital projects at a major potash mining operation located approximately 100 km from Saskatoon. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic underground mining environment, leading a variety of capital projects that directly support safe and reliable mine operations. Projects range from equipment replacements and infrastructure upgrades to mechanical and process improvements, providing exposure to diverse technical challenges and stakeholders. What You'll Do As the Project Manager, you will lead multiple capital projects from planning through execution and close-out while working closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, contractors, and vendors. Responsibilities include: Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and execution plans Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities Review engineering designs to ensure compliance with project objectives, site standards, and regulatory requirements Manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and resource requirements Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies Prepare project reports, forecasts, and presentations for stakeholders Support procurement activities, including vendor evaluations and contract administration Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Conduct project close-outs and capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement Requirements 2+ years of project management experience, preferably within mining, heavy industrial, construction, or other industrial environments Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is an asset Experience managing capital projects in an industrial environment Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Experience with SAP, Primavera P6, Oracle, or other project management software is considered an asset Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Ability to communicate technical information effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Previous underground mining or potash experience is considered a strong asset Benefits Health and Dental Benefits Company Pension Matching Work on impactful capital projects in heavy industrial settings Gain valuable experience in a mining environment Collaborate with experienced engineering and project professionals Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Professional development, mentorship, and career growth opportunities Be part of a company recognized for delivering gold standard project management solutions across the mining, energy, and heavy industrial sectors We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
