*About Us* Modern farrow to wean operation looking for farrowing and breeding technicians. *Job Duties* * Follow and enforce biosecurity protocols and animal welfare codes of practice * All aspects of breeding/raising pigs including processing piglets, moving sows, piglets and boars * Maintain health of the herd * Carry out feeding routine and provide water for the animals * Monitor herd health and properly handle and administer medications and vaccines as required * Pressure wash and ensure rooms are clean and sanitized * Maintain barn machinery and equipment * Ensure proper ventilation and manure management * Report any safety concerns to a supervisor * Maintain detailed records * Perform other duties as required *Work Environment* * Fast-paced environment * Physically demanding * Standing for extended periods * Repetitive tasks * Handling heavy loads * Bending, crouching, kneeling * May be noise, dust and odours Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Benefits: * Extended health care Application question(s): * Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
